Sertão Verde Nursery
The Sertão Verde Nursery is an Agrodan initiative dedicated to producing seedlings of native and fruit-bearing species from the Caatinga biome. Established in 2018, the nursery reinforces our commitment to environmental restoration, the reforestation of degraded areas and the preservation of biodiversity in the São Francisco Valley.
Focusing on species adapted to the semi-arid climate, Sertão Verde is more than a growing space: it is an ecological regeneration project with a direct impact on the region's present and future.

Fighting climate change, providing food, offering shade, saving water and preventing erosion: these are among the benefits trees provide.
With this in mind, Agrodan has already produced more than 60,000 seedlings of forest species in its nursery, planting trees across its surroundings and the local community.
