Sewage Treatment
At Agrodan, environmental management includes the responsible treatment of the sanitary wastewater generated at our sites. We use systems that ensure environmental safety, legal compliance and the careful reuse of water resources.
For sanitary wastewater, we use a UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) reactor, a technology recognised for its efficiency in biological treatment and in reducing organic load.
After treatment, once the effluent meets the appropriate standards for use, it is used for the irrigation of landscaped and reforestation areas, promoting the safe reuse of water and reducing environmental impact.
